Councilman Mark Dehnert is a life-long resident of Secaucus and a successful product of the Secaucus Public 

School system.  He has lived in two wards of Secaucus.  Currently he is Chief Operating Officer and General Manager of an upscale coop in Manhattan, directing a staff of 45 employees.  Formerly in the hotel and 

hospitality industry for over 25 years, and a former small business owner in town.  He is the President of the 

Steven Strobert Foundation and a recipient of the 2009 Steven Strobert Foundation Man of the Year Award.  Mark is also a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church.
Mark coaches recreation boys/girls basketball, girls softball, boys Little League baseball and travel teams.  Formerly he coached recreation football and soccer.
He is a dedicated father to three children all attending the Secaucus school system, Melissa, 15, in High School; Amanda, 14, in Middle School; and Mark, 10, in Huber Street School.  Married 27 years to his wife Lori.
